›A Certain Tendency in Representation‹
The project will feature a week of artists' 16mm and super8 films shown in a purpose-built cinema theatre conceived by Tobias Putrih in collaboration with the architect Luka Melon. Films by John Bock / Manon de Boer / Lonnie van Brummelen and Willem De Rooij / Brad Butler and Karen Mirza / Jeanne Faust / Isabell Heimerdinger / Marine Hugonnier / Christian Jankowski / Anna Lucas / Maria Lusitano / Dorit Margreiter / Daria Martin / Elizabeth McAlpine / Rosalind Nashashibi / Simon Popper / Paul Sietsema / Clemens von Wedemeyer

›Translations - Creative Copying and Originality‹
The idea that artists create autonomously is a great myth. The exhibition shows how artists have always been attracted by the works of their predecessors and contemporaries and how they have explored the creative potential of copying for their own goals.
