Concentrated in South Dhaka, Chobi Mela IX's main venue will be Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy and few unconventional sites in Old Dhaka. The festival has 31 exhibitions in total which include shows by 10 fellows who will be exhibiting alongside the main artists. This time the festival will focus on photographic education all around the globe.
